About Airport After Dark
A specialist, independent guide to the one thing generic airport sites ignore: the night.
Why we exist
Spending the night at an airport shouldn’t be a gamble. Yet the basics — does the terminal stay open, can you stay airside, where is it safe to rest — are scattered, dated and hard to trust. Airport After Dark treats the overnight as its own journey and answers that one question well, across the world’s biggest hubs.
How we build the data
Every airport starts from a structured record: opening hours, airside and landside rules, rest areas, 24-hour services, showers and night transport. We separate fact from estimate from recommendation, show when each guide was last verified, and rate our confidence. When conditions change with construction or security policy, the guide says so.
Verifiable details from official and operator sources.
Reasoned judgement where exact figures shift night to night.
Our editorial call on the best move — clearly marked as opinion.
How we make money
We earn through bookings for lounges, pods, hotels, showers, lockers, transfers and travel essentials. That revenue never reorders a score or changes a recommendation. If the best option for you pays us nothing, it still ranks first. We’d rather stay useful than sell the wrong bed.

Airport After Dark launches in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French at the same time. The factual database is single-source; the writing, slugs and metadata are localized so each language stands on its own.
